Rules Summary
1. No admin, or any member for that matter, shall divulge any internal league matters to any other league. This includes discussions in our forums, internal e-mails, chats that took place in our server or in Ventrilo, website scripts or html codes, passwords, chat logs, lists of potential new members, graphics, text, or anything else that is intended to be exclusive to RIT.
2. Race length to be limited to 250 miles/laps or below, depending on the track.
3. Caution flags to be used
4. Aids will be disabled. Forced cockpit view will be enabled.
5. Weather conditions are at the mercy of the sim.
6. No cheating. Violators will be ejected from the league.
7. Any admin(s) that get knocked out of the race are urged to stick around and
help admin the remainder of the event to keep tabs on racing incidents, etc.
8. If you begin to spin during practice sessions or happy hour, immediately hit the ESC key to avoid involving other cars who are trying to test.
9. Those that have been notified, as well as members who have donated to the "donate" link, and admins, may admin and run races on our dedicated server, as long as these members understand that there are to be no restarts allowed once the green flag waves, and as long as the applicable rules are followed and enforced. Restarting the server once qualifying has started should be a rare event...such as if the server drops players, or if there is some other problem beyond our control.
10. League forums should be read at least once a week. Some important information is submitted through forums and nowhere else at times, so it is important to keep updated.
11. Periodically check this rules package for any changes.
12. Race settings will be normal tire wear and 2x fuel beginning in the 2009 season.
13. Qualifying will be scheduled for 8pm ET Sunday nights, with a 5 minute warmup before beginning the race. The drivers meeting will be held during the 5 minute warmup period. Drivers are expected to show up by at lest 7:30pm to ensure there are no car file issues, etc.
Terms and their definitions
-"Pit roll-thru" Means a driver is required to come down pit road to serve a
penalty, but does NOT have to stop at pit stall.
-"stop and go" Means a driver is to stop and pit in their pit box to serve a
penalty.
-"Chop blocking" Means a driver dives to the inside to intentionally block a
faster driver, almost "chopping the nose" off the front fender.
